Cambridge Tutors College

Cambridge Tutors College is an A-level crammer situated in Croydon UK. Founded in 1958 as a tutorial centre to help boys in preparation for their common entrance exam, it has expanded into a successful international sixth form college. Students are from over thirty countries including China, Malaysia, Latvia, Estonia, and Russia.

The school's name originates from the first principal's idea to only employ graduates of Cambridge University supposedly ensuring top quality academic instruction. This requirement has evolved since 1958 and now there are over 50 tutors covering a range of over 18 subject areas of all A-level courses.

Recent Academic Achievement

The results for students taking A-level exams have remained in top 100 amongst all A-level colleges and schools in the UK in the past several years. For 2009, the college was ranked #67 according to the A-level results released that summer. Moreover there were 11 successful Oxbridge applicants that year.
